No more Kabbadi events at Noose Lane in Willenhall

Noisy wrestling events which led to a string of complaints about Sporting Khalsa, the new owner of Willenhall Town’s ground, have been axed.

Khalsa was served with a noise abatement order after annoying neighbours by holding Kabbadi Indian wrestling matches. The club, which faced a fine of up to £5,000 or court action if it failed to comply with the order, initially said it planned to appeal to Walsall Council…
