Walsall North MP David Winnick has insisted he will not follow fellow veteran town MP Bruce George into retirement – despite being nine years his senior. Mr Winnick, aged 76, was elected to represent Walsall North in 1979. The MP has now announced he wants to secure a seventh re-election when voters go to the polls for the General Election, which is expected to happen on 6 May...
