Monday's news, that a secret report revealing that cash-strapped Walsall Council may have to return up to £4 million in grants it received from EU funders because it cannot find the receipts to account for the money spent, has incensed a Walsall blogger who accuses the Council of being "careless, shiftless and shameless". BrownhillsBob points out that it is Walsall services, social care provision in particular, that suffer from the Council's financial "unprofessionalism"...
