Walsall Wood victim’s sister to join march over sentences

Advertiser 1 May 10

A grieving Walsall Wood woman whose brother was killed by a hit and run driver is set to join a march protesting against lenient sentences. Jane Hatfield, whose brother Chris was killed when a car mounted the pavement and hit him, will be adding her support to the Life Should Mean Life march in London on Monday.

Ashley Lunn, of Sandpiper Close, Hednesford, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after being convicted of Mr Hatfield’s manslaughter in 2009.
