Walsall to demolish recently refurbished school

Walsall education chiefs have approved plans to demolish a primary school – after spending £160,000 doing it up.
Walsall Borough Council gave the green light for a swanky new reception and staff room at Christ Church Primary School in Blakenall which was completed last April. But planning chiefs later agreed to knock down the ‘unsuitable’ school and now plan to replace it with a £5.5 million state-of-the-art building…
