Walsall man shot dead outside his Bilston pub

A pub boss was shot dead outside his own Bilston bar. Swinder Singh Batth, 47, a husband and father-of-four from Moxley, Walsall, was the licensee of Gavin’s Sports Bar in The Orchard, Bilston, where the incident took place just after midnight. A hunt for Mr Batth’s killer has been launched, with detectives from the major investigation unit, based at West Bromwich, conducting house-to-house enquiries near the scene…
