Walsall councillor in court on electoral fraud charges

Walsall councillor Mohammed Munir’s fingerprints were found on 11 electoral roll applications which were delivered to non-existent residents, a court heard.

Munir, aged 57, a Conservative member of Walsall Council, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court facing 11 counts of electoral fraud in the 2008 local elections…
