After not playing for over a month because of poor weather and cancelled fixtures this League Cup quarter final was always going to be an extremely difficult game – made even worse for the visitors as they only had 11 players available.

However, Chasetown made a bright opening by scoring inside the first ten minutes. A corner was well taken by Jodie Kinsey and Stephanie Powell met the ball well to power a header into the net.

The visitors played some good football through the first half but failed to increase their lead. Reedswood had been restricted to a few long range shots, which Becky Troth held onto well…
