A superb 2-1 win at Sutton Coldfield Town saw Rushall Olympic leap frog their neighbours into fourth place in the Evo-Stik League First Division South table as they completed a fine double over their arch rivals.

Rushall Olympic made it six league and cup wins in succession as they began the New Year with a bang by leap-frogging opponents Sutton Coldfield in the Evo-Stik League First Division South standings following a fine 3-0 home success against their near neighbours.
Although the visitors’ profligacy in front of goal in part proved to be their ultimate undoing, it was undoubtedly a series of fine saves from home custodian Chris Gemmell that ensured the Pics three extremely well executed goals came without reply as they eased into the promotion play-off positions…
