Rushall Olympic were left highly aggrieved after finding themselves undeservedly dumped out of the FA Carlsberg Trophy as a result of a highly controversial winning goal from an otherwise subdued looking Stourbridge outfit just after the hour mark.

Rushall Olympic will be fired by the prospect of securing a home tie against Stourbridge when they play their FA Trophy replay tonight.

Monday’s second qualifying round draw handed the winners of tonight’s clash with Carlton Town a home encounter with Gary Hackett’s Glassboys in the second qualifying round on October 30.

Rushall needed a penalty save from Chris Gemmell to earn a 1-1 draw at Carlton last Saturday, but Pics manager Neil Kitching is confident they can see off their Evo-Stik Division One South rivals at Dales Lane…
