Forecasters have predicted that snow will be making a return to the West Midlands by the end of the week.
The fresh blast of wintry weather will also see temperatures drop to 4C (39F).
Met Office forecaster Bob Syvret said: “There will be some snow in the West Midlands towards the end of the week, probably starting on Wednesday, but it’s not going to be sticking much.

Now the clocks have moved forward, the winter is over. Spring is here, and the light evenings and long day rides of summer begin. I like cycling in the winter, but the cold and dark become wearing; the chance to go out without 6 layers of clothes and lit up like a Christmas tree is most liberating. How fine it is to see spring flowers, leaves beginning to bud on the trees, lambs in the fields and nature coming to life…

The clocks went forward one hour at 1am Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) which became 2am when we enter British Summer Time (BST) – today, the last Sunday in March.
BST ends on the last Sunday in October, when the clocks go back, giving an extra hour – at 2am BST – when the UK moves to 1 am GMT.
