Walsall’s postponed League One matches against Oldham and Southampton have been allocated rearranged dates in the new year.
The home fixture against the Latics was initially scheduled for the start of this month but fell foul of the wintry weather conditions and will now be played on Tuesday January 25, kick-off 7.45pm.
Saturday’s clash against Southampton at the Banks’s Stadium was also the victim of a frozen pitch, with the visit of Nigel Adkins’ side now scheduled for Tuesday March 1, kick-off 7.45pm…

Walsall’s home showdown with Southampton has been postponed with the Banks’s Stadium pitch frozen solid. The Saddlers held an inspection at 11.30am on Friday after overnight temperatures dipped to minus 5C and local referee Steve Bratt called Saturday’s game off.
