Meanwhile, maiden goals from Stanford Hepburn and Ahmed Obeng during the first period capped what was an excellent evening for a much changed Pics side…

Rushall’s late shock rocks Romulus
Holders Rushall Olympic stormed through to their eighth Walsall Senior Cup Final after turning the game dramatically in their favour against neighbours Romulus with three goals in the last seven minutes of the tie.

In a first half largely controlled by their guests, the Pics were thankful to their custodian Chris Gemmell for some inspired goal keeping. Twice in quick succession the shot stopper prevented Roms target man Tyrone Fagan from edging his side into a fifth minute lead, before later denying Mykel Beckley and Lei Brown as the half progressed…

Marcus Brown and Leo Brown both suffered knee injuries in last Saturday’s final match of the Zamaretto Midlands season against Slough and will be ruled out of the cup semi-final at Dales Lane (7.45)…
