Neil Kitching has expressed his sense of relief – and vindication – after the FA dropped charges against the Rushall Olympic manager.

The Pics boss vowed to clear his name after he was charged with foul and abusive language towards a match official during the FA Trophy defeat to Stourbridge on October 30 following a report from the referee.

He was involved in a bust-up with the assistant referee after claiming the Glassboys winner was clearly offside, but he stressed he had never been abusive…

Rushall Olympic manager Neil Kitching fears the promotion race in the Evo-Stik League Division One South will become the survival of the fittest because of the big freeze. The Pics’ planned trip to Leicestershire to face Quorn on Monday was called off because of snow.

Rushall, who are seventh in the table, are due to play Sutton Coldfield at Dales Lane on New Year’s Day before heading to Leek Town on Monday but the Pics will have their fingers crossed there will be an improvement in the weather…
