Adams puts seal on Dynamo win
A second half brace from Striker Carl Adams secured Dynamo’s first win of the season at Rushall Olympic.
The opening exchanges were even with Rushall’s winger Alex Melbourne delivering a succession of dangerous crosses which were, in the main, dealt with by Danny Gibbons and Danny Jenno in the heart of the Dynamo defence. Luke Edwards carved out a chance for himself on 18 minutes when he outpaced the Rushall fullback cut inside, his shot deflecting off the outside of the upright.
Rushall should have taken the lead on 32 minutes when Anthony Maguire threaded a delightful ball through the Dynamo defence for Craig Bannister who shot wide with only Laurie Pearson to beat. The same player was guilty of wasting another chance on 35 minutes when he headed over from a cross by Gary Fitzpatrick…

Despite several chances for both sides, Gary Birch grabbed the only goal of the game as Chasetown triumphed at Loughborough Dynamo in Thursday’s friendly.

Rushall had much the better of the opening exchanges and with only six minutes on the clock, good work by Justin Nisbett set up Danny Edmond who ballooned over from eight yards.
