After last week’s home win against Leamington, Lichfield had the chance to secure a second straight home victory against rivals Walsall in the Staffs Cup Semi Final.
The hosts started brightly but it was Walsall who scored first, a penalty courtesy of the exchange Mexican referee and a 3-0 lead.
A minute later a well struck penalty by Luke Massey brought the scores level. In the 13th minute Lichfield’s pack were rewarded when Derrick Squire was on the end of a fine line out drive to score near the corner. Luke Massey was again successful and the home side were 10-3 up…
