For the second time this season Chasetown exited a cup competition at the first hurdle as Heath Hayes triumphed 2-1 in their Walsall Senior Cup tie.

Despite the Scholars taking an early lead, visiting goalkeeper Adam Lane proved strong with four fine first half saves and his performance inspired the Midland Alliance men to come from behind, netting the winner with twelve minutes to spare…
