Walsall manager Dean Smith has hailed the input of his closest advisors Jon Whitney and Chris Nicholl into the team’s recent revival as they battle to beat relegation from League One.
In particular, the Saddlers boss appreciates his aides’ willingness to pipe up when they think he is wrong.
