The first round of meetings of the newly formed Area Partnerships in Walsall has been completed and yesterday chairs, vice chairs and Area Managers met to reflect on their progress.
The idea of the new partnerships is to look to all partners in each area to pool resources to resolve issues and improve service delivery. They differ from their predecessor the Local Neighbourhood Partnership, in that each of the new bodies has a dedicated officer who has access to a team of people drawn from across the service deliverers.
