A car dealership in Walsall has closed its doors with the loss of 20 jobs after failing to find a buyer. Steve Thompson Cars had been based in Broadway for the past 40 years. It was put up for sale late last year following the retirement of its owner Steve Thompson.

Its sister Vauxhall dealership in Eastern Avenue, Lichfield, was bought by Vertu Motors in a £2.8million deal in November, securing jobs and its future. However no buyer could be found for the Walsall site…
