Desperate bosses may be forced to look overseas to fill vacancies for apprentices at a booming Walsall engineering firm.
Award-winning R & R Midlands, based in Green Lane, Walsall, is searching for youngsters to become apprentice engineers so it can continue expanding to handle a bulging order book.
But despite the recession leaving thousands of people out of work, the firm’s owner Surjit Bajwa warned it may have to bring in skilled workers from abroad….
