Budget clothing giant Primark today confirmed it will open a new superstore in Walsall in a deal that could be signed within weeks. Bosses revealed negotiations with council chiefs were progressing well and the contract could be signed as soon as two weeks’ time.
It was originally believed Primark would take over 50,000 sq ft of the existing town centre Tesco in Bridge Street when the supermarket moves to a new site next year. But it is now believed to be looking at an alternative location in the town centre…
