Enoch Evans Solicitors in Walsall have converted to limited liability partnership (LLP) status as of 1st April 2010.

The principal driver is of course limiting the Partner’s liability but there are other advantages to this conversion. David Evans, Managing Partner explains that “the firm’s conversion to limited liability partnership status was not a decision taken without due consideration, it has taken meticulous planning and management but we believe this step will not only serve as a risk regulator but will also assist in the long-term growth strategy of Enoch Evans”

Making a will brings security and peace of mind, not just to you but to those you love. Enoch Evans will waive their will-making fees to write a standard will during the Week. If the will is non-standard and involves tax, specialised legal advice or trusts, Enoch Evans said they will be happy to advise and agree a fee.

Helen Relihan, Head of Fundraising for St Giles explained: “We invite everyone to make a standard will in return for a donation to St Giles Hospice. While it is entirely up to the individual how much they choose to donate, an average standard will ranges from £75 to £100 so we hope people would consider donating at least £50. All the money raised will go towards funding St Giles’ caring services.”

St Giles Hospice is an independent charity providing high-quality medical and nursing care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as offering support for their families and helpers. The dedicated team provides individually-tailored care at the hospices in Whittington near Lichfield, and Sutton Coldfield, as well as in patients’ own homes across the region. The range of specialist services are provided free of charge to all who need it.

Susan Comrie, Enoch Evans’ probate wills and trust partner, said of the sponsorship: “We are extremely proud to be sponsoring ‘Make a Will Week’, we have strong links with St Giles Hospice and understand that making a will can be unnerving for some. We will, sensitively and impartially, offer advice and welcome people of all ages”.
