Ductile Wesson at Victoria Steel Works, Bull Lane, Moxley, which has been winding down since February, will stop production at the end of June, after around 200 years at the site, it was announced today. Managing director Tarlok Singh confirmed around 40 workers would be made redundant in the coming weeks before production finishes. A total of 63 employees were let go in April in the first round of job losses.
More than 60 workers at Ductile Wesson at Victoria Steel Works in Moxley are set to lose their jobs by the end of the month with the company closing by the end of the year and shedding all 150 jobs…
