Following the launch of several new services this year, Walsall business phone systems provider Cloudnet joins other UK telecoms companies celebrate a successful 2010.
Cloud Net joins: BT, whose shares have increased by 22% on the year so far, TalkTalk, which is up 25.6%, Vodafone is up 18%, KCOM (which used to be Kingston) is up 23% and Virgin Media is up a massive 67%.
Cloudnet has seen its customer base quadruple and is planning to double its team by the end of 2011…

Walsall-based Cloud Net Ltd has announced today that it has reached the final stages in two awards that recognise the best and brightest technology companies regionally and nationally.
In the ICT Excellence Awards 2010, Cloud Net is a finalist in the Business Value category and for the national Technology Strategy Board Special Awards, it has been selected as a contender in the High Growth Potential Business category.
The Walsall company, which currently employs five people at its head office in Green Lane, achieved the shortlist for Cloud Net Connect, an internet-based telephone system for small businesses. No other business VoIP company runs its own network and also offers free handsets and a fully featured internet switchboard. Along with the other finalists, Cloud Net will present its submission to a panel of judges before the winners of the coveted technology awards are announced in November.

Walsall-based business phone systems company Cloud Net, today launched new UK landline call bundles that will help business owners keep their telephony costs low and predictable.
From £5 per month, Cloud Net is providing customers up to 5,000 UK landline minutes (01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 numbers). Calls made outside the bundle are charged at Cloud Net’s standard low rates.

Business phone systems company Cloud Net, is starting its offer of the week programme with a massive 2,500 free UK landline minutes per handset ordered in September.
The 2,500 minutes (equivalent to more than 41 hours of calls) are applied as a one-off credit to the customer’s first chargeable bill. If all the minutes are not used, the balance rolls over to the following month – there’s no expiry date.
The offer is available to both existing subscribers and new customers who take one or more handset subscriptions before the end of the month.

Walsall charity Breathing Space, which helps local people into self-employment, has teamed up with Walsall business phone systems company Cloud Net, to provide a service which will allow local start up and small businesses to make telephone calls within Walsall for free.
As part of the initiative, Walsall-based start-up companies and small businesses will get a free handset, free installation, free calls to other Cloud Net users and free calls to Walsall numbers. From the second month of use, a monthly charge of £8.50 covers a full internet switchboard, which includes voicemail to email, call divert and call recording. Cloud Net, the business phone systems company, today launched www.phonegrader.co.uk, a free service that helps small businesses evaluate the way their phones are answered by their employees.
In a recent survey of small businesses, Cloud Net discovered that while more than half of the businesses surveyed did answer test calls professionally, giving their company name and a greeting, nearly a third failed to do so.

A telephone survey conducted in May 2010, by Walsall-based business phone systems company, Cloud Net, found that almost a third of small businesses are not picking up the phone.
Cloud Net’s survey consisted of calling 200 randomly selected West Midlands businesses (with fewer than 250 employees).
