9-man Pics slip to extra time defeat

Rushall Olympic ultimately ended their Evo-Stik League Challenge Cup First Round tie against former Football League outfit Chester FC at their Exacta Stadium home with nine-men and a 3-1 defeat after extra time.

It could all have been so different had the outstanding Mitchell Tolley not seen his 31st minute penalty conversion attempt crash against the crossbar. However, the Pics defensive linchpin did redeem himself five minutes into the second period when the visitors surpassed all expectations to forge into the lead by lashing in a loose ball…
