It’s Halloween, and The Pigsty is unusual among houses in this street: we are decorated up for it and positively encourage trick or treat.
There’s no money on offer: just a few sweets, and so far, yesterday and today, it hasn’t been any youths with their hoodies up (and no costume) wanting money and looking about to cause problems: it’s been kids with parents or older siblings up to teenage girls in costume, happy with a few sweets and a bit of fun- and it’s actually quite nice to see. The night is still young…
