Studley spring surprise in friendly draw
A goal within 15 seconds of the start and a penalty conversion with virtually the last kick of the game gave visitors Studley a surprise draw at Dales Lane as Rushall Olympic’s previously stable defence leaked a series of sloppy goals.
The visitors enjoyed a dream start when straight from the kick-off hesitancy in the Pics defensive ranks cost them dearly as Nick Amos slipped at the wrong moment and let in the Studley attack who, despite the best efforts of ‘keeper Chris Gemmell, could not be prevented from being slotting the ball home from close range…
