Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has launched a £1 billion regional fund to help businesses outside London and the South-east.

The cash came as the coalition Government held its first Cabinet meeting outside London, in Yorkshire. David Cameron, the Prime Minister, is expected to bring the Cabinet to the West Midlands in the future.
