New Walsall Tesco superstore begins to take shape

Construction of a new Tesco superstore creating around 200 jobs in Walsall town centre is underway. The metal framework of the supermarket has started to be erected on the site of the former Walsall College. The first visual signs of the building can now be seen by shoppers and motorists travelling through the town.
It is planned that the shape of the superstore will be in place by the end of the year ready for opening in February 2011…
