Experienced striker Jon Macken is delighted to be carving out the next phase of his long professional career at Walsall.
The 32-year-old signed on with the Saddlers last month as manager Chris Hutchings sought to beef up his front ranks with a proven goal-poacher following the £500,000 sale of Troy Deeney to Championship outfit Watford.
Macken fitted the bill perfectly for Hutchings, having been around the block many times since bursting onto the senior scene at Preston North End having left Manchester United without making a senior appearance…
