Inquest to resume into death of Walsall soldier in Afghanistan

An inquest will resume into the deaths of five British soldiers – including three from the West Midlands – killed in Afghanistan by a Taliban bombing tactic involving two explosions. The comrades from 2nd Battalion The Rifles (2 Rifles) lost their lives near Sangin, Helmand Province, last July during Operation Panther’s Claw in a so-called “daisy chain” bomb attack.
