Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has challenged Troy Deeney to make the next step up in his game next season – and break the 20-goal barrier.
With two games left this term, Deeney’s goal tally stands at 14. That is not a bad haul at all considering that the team endured a sizeable blip in form after Christmas and, at times, the supply lines to the Saddlers strikers have been a bit sparse, to say the least.
