Ex Walsall head walks out of new school after just four months
The former head of Walsall’s Frank F Harrison Engineering College slated by government inspectors has walked out of his high-profile job at West Nuneaton Academy after less than four months in the post. Ofsted produced a damning report into the 950-pupil Engineering College in Walsall just weeks before Martin Cain left.
The inspectors gave it the worst overall rating of ‘inadequate’ and put it in ‘special measures’. And pressure on Mr Cain at his new job in Nuneaton mounted after local parents learned of the failings at his old school – now under the interim headship of Jacqui Grace…
