Maxim of Walsall's Tories?

There’s a document currently doing the rounds of various committees at Walsall Council which makes interesting reading. It looks at 10 key economic challenges for Walsall.

One in particular caught my eye, “The importance of developing thriving and cultural facilities” it makes the point that in order to retain both people and new employers, Walsall must develop the right mix of “social infrastructure” which includes housing, education, schools, culture and leisure – in a sustainable environment.

Pity Walsall’s Tory cabinet didn’t refer to this when they closed…
