Cops drive WM bus crime to five-year low

Crime on the West Midlands’ bus network has plummeted to its lowest level for five years.

Figures released by transport bosses showed that, over the past 12 months, the average number of recorded crimes fell from 330 to 260 a month across the region – a drop of 21 per cent. In June there were just 163 recorded bus-related crimes…
