Black Country firms look to increase apprenticeships

Black Country businesses emerging from recession are planning for the future by looking to increase their recruitment of new apprentices, new research has shown. The National Apprenticeship Service said more than 130 places were currently up for grabs. The spread of vacancies across the Black Country shows places available in all four boroughs – 32 in Walsall; 46 in Wolverhampton;  21 in Sandwell; and, 37 in Dudley…
