Bevan has ambitions of No 1 jersey on the Brain

New Walsall stopper David Bevan insists he will not be content to settle for a back-up role to fellow recent arrival Jonny Brain after signing with the Saddlers.
Bevan, released by Aston Villa this summer, was one of four players to sign up with Walsall this week – most notably winger Julian Gray, who finally committed to the club after an impressive spell last season.
