Attempted Wednesbury murder probe launched

An attempted murder investigation is under way after a man was knocked down by a car, leaving him fighting for his life. The 41-year-old was struck early on Sunday at the BP petrol station in Walsall Street, Wednesbury. Police believe that the victim was involved in a dispute moments before which led to him being hit by a car.
He suffered serious head injuries and was in hospital today on a life support machine. Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. One man was in custody today, while the others have been bailed pending further inquiries…
