Anglo-Saxon treasure was found by Bloxwich detector club member

The extraordinary discovery of the UK’s largest ever hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver was found by a member of the Bloxwich Research and Metal Detecting Club. Fifty-five year old Mr Terry Herbert, a resident of Burntwood in Staffordshire, discovered the treasure while searching in a field on Johnson’s Farm near Brownhills, Walsall, back in July…
